Nick Cannon is dispelling rumors that he has a “favorite baby mama” among the six mothers of his 12 children.
“Why do people say that?” Ms. Cannon, 45, recently spoke on the radio show “The Breakfast Club” about the theory that Bre Tiesi, with whom she shares son Legendary Love, 4, is her favorite.
Cannon admitted that she is often spotted with Tiege, 35, in public and on social media, but the Wild’n Out creator reasoned that “she’s (already) famous.” (Tiesi is a model, actress, and real estate agent known for appearing on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset.”)
“The reason why people say that, which I understand, is because she’s on such media. … Social media is part of her business, so yes, she posts all the time, but (while) some of the mothers of my children really want to be private,” Cannon continued, adding that some of the women have told him they don’t want to be part of his upcoming Netflix documentary.
In addition to sharing a legendary love affair with Tiesci, Cannon also shares 15-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey. He has a son, Golden Sagon (9 years old), a daughter, Powerful Queen (5 years old), and a son, Rise Messiah (3 years old), with Brittany Bell. Twins Zion Mixolydian and Jillion Hare (4 years old) and daughters Beautiful Zeppelin (3 years old) and Abby de la Rosa. Alyssa Scott with daughter Halo, 3, and Lanisha Cole with daughter Onyx, 3. Cannon and de la Rosa’s oldest son, son Zen, tragically passed away in December 2021 at the age of five months.
“One of my children’s mothers, or three of my children, she’s literally a psychologist, and… she’s like, ‘This is not good for my actual career,'” Cannon noted. “To be seen as one of the baby mamas all the time. So I have to respect that energy. … I’m probably more in that household and with those kids than anyone else because of the number of kids, the school, etc. But she said, ‘I don’t want cameras or anything,’ and she said, ‘If I have to, I want to be able to control the narrative, because I’m a doctor. So I thought, ‘I have to respect that.’ that. ”
Cannon added that he and Tiesi often work together because they are in the same industry.
“My goal is to love everyone as equally as possible,” he claimed. “I feel like I have a soul connection with all of my children’s mothers…but what a soulmate is, it’s like, ‘You’re the only one for me.’ Yeah, obviously I don’t have a one-of-a-kind.”
Cannon, who was only married to Carey, 57, from 2008 to 2016, has long been candid about his large blended family. In September 2025, he admitted that having 12 children was a “traumatic” part of the divorce.
“I never had a chance to slow down until I went to therapy,” he told The Breakfast Club. “But I thought, ‘Look, I need to keep making money. I need to stay hot. I need to stay interesting.'” And everything else took care of itself. And I just didn’t do the work. So I looked up 12 kids later. Wow, I could have done it completely differently. ”
Cannon continued, “But I stand firm in all of my decisions because I love all of my children. I love the foundation of our family. But I know that it all started in a painful place and hasn’t really healed properly.”
