Taylor Swift takes selfie as Travis Kelsey’s date at wedding

As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding approaches, the singer was getting fired up at a fellow couple’s wedding.

Two selfies taken by the 36-year-old Swift show her enjoying the festivities at the wedding of Kansas City Chiefs forward George Karlaftis to Kaia Harris on May 9, where she grins at the camera and purses her lips as she poses with the guests.

A photo shared via X’s fan account on Tuesday, May 19, showed Swift, who is set to marry Kelce, also 36, this summer, rocking her signature cat eye, red lip makeup, wispy bangs, pendant necklace, and drop earrings, as four delighted guests smiled beside her.

Additional snaps from the night, shared in a separate post via the same X-Fan account, show a full-length photo of Swift in the gown she chose. From the Australian brand’s Cruise 2026 collection, this ‘Blue Mermaid’ silk linen Zimmerman dress features a flared skirt and corseted bodice.

The ‘Opalite’ hitmaker paired this graceful design with white peep-toe heels.

People magazine reported on May 11 that Karlaftis, 25, and Harris’ wedding was a three-day celebration in Greece, with 220 guests gathered at the One&Only Aesthetics Resort in Glyfada.

Chiefs defensive end Karlaftis reflected on his big day in an interview with the media after everyone went home. “I brought together my Greek family and friends and friends from different parts of my life and I didn’t know how everyone was going to fit in,” the athlete said. “The first night, 25 different worlds collided. We have really cool friends and the people we invited were awesome. Everyone got along, made new friends, and danced together. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day or night.”

Last month, Us Weekly exclusively revealed the details of Swift and Kelsey’s own wedding, which is scheduled to take place on June 13th in Rhode Island. Sources say the wedding will likely be split between Swift’s $189 million Rhode Island mansion and local five-star resort Ocean House. “Due to the increased guest list, the ceremonies and private gatherings associated with the wedding will be split (between venues),” the source said, warning that the singer may still have other locations in mind. “Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario.”

Another source said the couple, who announced their engagement in August 2025, had invited about 150 guests. “It won’t be a big wedding, but many celebrities will be in attendance,” a source said.

The first source added that the wedding will not be a “big fuss” and that no paper invitations have been mailed to loved ones. Additionally, Us learned that despite not having any official bridesmaids, Swift will be getting ready with her closest friends. “She’s already asked some of her closest girlfriends, including Selena[Gomez]and Gigi[Hadid]to stay at her home in Rhode Island the night before the wedding.”
