The seat Taylor Swift sat in while attending the Eastern Conference NBA Finals with her fiancé Travis Kelce has been officially put up for auction.
“Sitting in this chair as one of the most recognized and influential artists of her generation, she has achieved global acclaim through a career defined by commercial success, critical acclaim, and multiple Grammy Awards,” The Realest’s description reads. “Her attendance reflects the cultural reach of the NBA Playoffs and the importance of the Eastern Conference Finals, one of the most-watched events in sports.”
“This chair, sourced from Rocket Arena’s courtside seating area, serves as a tangible artifact of the nationally renowned postseason event. The connection to one of the world’s most famous entertainers adds a unique layer of provenance to an item that is directly tied to the atmosphere and excitement of the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals, further reflecting the Cavaliers’ position at the intersection of sports and pop culture.”
At the time of publication, the current bid price is listed at $6,000. The website states the deadline for bidding is June 14th at 8pm.
Last month, Swift attended the Cleveland Cavaliers’ game against the New York Knicks in Cleveland with Kelce, both 36. In the end, the Cavaliers lost in the Eastern Conference NBA Finals, and the Knicks advanced to the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. (As of this article’s publication, the Knicks are 2-0.)
During the outing, Swift sported a black tank top and jeans, while Kelce wore a Cavaliers cap, short-sleeved denim shirt, and jeans.
“Let me just say this: I wasn’t trying to convince Taylor to become a Cleveland sports fan. We just had a fun date night knowing that I love going to basketball games,” Travis said on an episode of his and brother Jason Kelsey’s New Heights podcast, reflecting on his night out with Swift. “We actually tried to go to the New York game, but got stuck in Kansas City. I love and appreciate bringing her into the world of sports.”
Swift and Travis are also reportedly preparing to say “I do,” as the two continue to make public appearances in Cleveland and New York City. Although the couple has remained mum on speculation about their wedding location or invitations, some media reports have reported that Swift and Travis may be planning to tie the knot at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in front of more than 1,000 guests.
However, some users are skeptical. One X user wrote, “Sly Stone got married on MSG and I seriously doubt Taylor Swift would do something like that. She’s good at fooling people, especially the press, to keep her private life private.”
